Bill Selick is an Assistant Vice President in the Research and Statistics Group. He is the Function Head for the Research Services Function which consists of the Research Technology Services(High Performance Clusters, Econometric Tools, Web Services, Blog Support, etc), Research Library, and Research Executive Services. Bill's team manages our state-of-the-art Research Computing Environment which offers economists a broad spectrum of technology resources, the ability to take advantage of real and financial data series, and electronic access to academic journals. Prior to joining the New York Fed, Mr. Selick was the Director of Global Messaging Services for Credit Suisse, and had a 15 year career as a strategic systems engineer in the defense industry. He holds a BSEE from Lehigh University and an MBA in Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
