Annual Survey: One-year-ahead home price growth expectation increased to 5.1 percent in February 2024 from 2.6 percent a year prior. In contrast, the corresponding five-year outlook declined 0.1 percentage point to 2.7 percent.

SURVEY OF CONSUMER EXPECTATIONS
March Survey: Median one-year-ahead inflation expectations remained unchanged at 3.0 percent. They increased to 2.9 percent from 2.7 percent at the three-year horizon and decreased to 2.6 percent from 2.9 percent at the five-year horizon.

Quarterly Report on Household Debt and Credit
In the fourth quarter, total household debt increased to $17.5 trillion led by mortgage balances (up $112 billion) and credit card balances (up $50 billion). Delinquency transition rates increased for all debt types, except for student loans.
