New York Fed to Host Conference on U.S.-EU Economic Relations

NEW YORK—The Federal Reserve Bank of New York and European Commission's Directorate General for Economic Financial Affairs will host the Transatlantic Economic Interdependence and Policy Challenges conference on April 22, 2013.  The conference will bring together policymakers, regulators, market analysts and academics to discuss prospects and challenges for growth and financial stability from the perspective of United States-European economic relations. 

The conference will feature three panel discussions, as well as a keynote address from European Commission Vice-President Olli Rehn.  New York Fed President William Dudley and European Union Ambassador to the United States João Vale de Almeida will deliver opening remarks.

Media Registration:
Chatham House Rules will be in effect for all but the keynote address at lunch; media may report on comments made during the event, but may not attribute remarks to individuals or organizations.
