The Outreach and Education function engages, empowers and educates the Second District communities that the Bank serves, especially civic leaders, students, educators, small business owners, policymakers and the general public. The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve discontinued the FR 2009 in November 2005.
This report collects data on the amount of electric power sold by utilities to, and cogenerated by, manufacturing and mining industries. Data are classified by the industries' primary activities according to North Amercian Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes. FR 2009a is filed by utilities, and the FR 2009b is filed by cogenerating industrial companies. These reports are often referred to as the KWH (kilowatt hour) reports.
