Economic Education improves public knowledge about the Federal Reserve System, monetary policy implementation, and promoting financial stability through the Museum and programs for K-16 students and educators, and the community.
Members of the public may comment on an application or a notification. Comments must be received by the Federal Reserve on or before the last day of the comment period. The comment period ends no earlier than the date specified in the newspaper notice and, in the case of bank holding company applications for which a Federal Register notice is published, may end later than that date.

All comments submitted electronically are scanned for viruses and may be intercepted by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York's commercial scanning agent. If, however, comments submitted electronically contain computer viruses or are otherwise inaccessible for any reason, the comments will not be considered received.
Comments received in writing either by mail or electronically on business days by 3:00 p.m. Eastern time will be considered received for processing on the same day. Comments received on nonbusiness days, or received on business days after 3:00 p.m. Eastern time, will not be considered received for processing until the next business day.
