Board Offers Guidance to Banking Organizations in Areas Affected by Hurricane Katrina

To All Depository Institutions and Others Concerned
in the Second Federal Reserve District:

The Federal Reserve Board said it is encouraging banking organizations to work with borrowers and other customers in communities affected by Hurricane Katrina.

Additionally, the Board reminded banking organizations that regulatory flexibility is available to facilitate recovery in areas affected by this disaster.
